Luis Aponte is a librarian, author, filmmaker, and the founder of Dragon Film Productions.
In 1993, Luis was a student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where he had to drop out during his junior year due to the threat of gun violence on campus. 25 years later, the same school experienced one of the worst school shootings in U.S. history
